The investigation remains open.

But I owe some long overdue thanks to many people who have helped with this project so far.

My thanks to Michael Semanchik and “Frank,” from the Innocence Center, for trusting me to dive into this case.  My thanks to Doug Niven, for talking me into this project, for his own thoughts on the case -- and a whole lot of driving!

My thanks to Jason Chan, for sharing his story with me -- and who deserves full exoneration. So, too, do Indra Lim and and Tak Sun Tan.  My thanks to people connected with them with whom I’ve spoken.  I’m still working.

My thanks to my international colleagues, many of whom went above and beyond the call for a fellow freelancer: Tetsuro Igarashi, Jonah Khu, Aaron; and my Cambodian colleagues whom I’d rather not name.

My thanks to all those who knew Haing Ngor personally, and shared their memories: Vicky Wong, CC, Jane, Roger Warner, Andy Pendleton, Emilia Casella, Roland Neveu, Roland Eng, Jon Swain, Susan Walker, Sara Colm, Greg Maher, Marion Rosenberg, Youk Chhang (and the late Nate Thayer, for talking to Frank.) I’ll even thank Larry. There are also a few off-the-record folks who knew Ngor and I thank you for speaking to me as well.

My thanks to everyone I’ve interviewed or spoken to on background, especially those in Cambodia and Singapore, who may have genuine risk attached.

My thanks to Thomas Mason; and Jake Klingensmith for database help - I was treated to assistance far surpassing the level of “favor.” Brian Chirls also poked around.

My thanks to those who’ve reached out by email to share your thoughts on the case.

My thanks to those who have supported this podcast, through sharing it, and financially. A special shout-out here to Lachlan Peters from the “In the Shadows of Utopia” podcast.

My thanks to my former boss, Jennifer Janin, who helped me tame a few beastly scripts.

My thanks to voiceover artists Tom Nunan, and Josh Carandang.

My thanks to Liz Tynes-Netto and Karen Emmons for letting me (or us!) crash.

This page, too, is a work in progress.

Please email whokilledhaingngor@gmail.com to remind me of anyone I may have overlooked.
